Vinyl is a naturally waterproof material that will allow you to deep clean your floors effectively! Use a sponge mop and water once a week to remove any spots, and a pH-neutral cleaner if needed. You can efficiently deep clean your luxury vinyl flooring by wet mopping whenever you prefer.

Vinyl floors are perfect for active homes with kids and pets where frequent spills and accidents can occur, since you can simply wipe up spills when they happen and use a pH-neutral cleaner to remove dried spills.

You do not need steam cleanings, a vacuum, brushes, steel wool, or ammonia cleaners: Simply use a soft, dry cloth, a manufacturer-approved cleaner, and water to spot-clean any stains.

Use mats at all entranceways to remove debris from footwear before it reaches your vinyl floors. In the winter months with icy slush outdoors, make sure footwear is removed and placed on shoe racks before walking inside. Use area rugs in your hallways and in all high-traffic areas to reduce the wear of foot traffic and prevent spills from landing on the vinyl surface. Trim pet nails and claws to avoid scratching, brush your cats and dogs regularly to reduce pet dander, and use mats under pet water bowls. We also recommend using felt pads under chair legs and heavy furniture to reduce the impact on your floors.
